Look at the source of the message in question, if the header "MIME-Version: 1.0" is missing, webmail will not treat the mail as HTML but as plain text, that's why the client sees the HTML code. To resolve this problem you should contact the mail sender and let him/her know that the message is breaking an RFC and the missing header should be added.
