We do accept special requests during performances from you or your guests. We are careful to ensure that requested songs are consistent with the hosts' desires, and appropriate for the event. If desired, take our song list and highlight some selections that you definitely want played and scratch off songs that you do not want to hear. Include the song list with your information sheet. We also ask that you trust our professional expertise in determining when to play these songs.

A: Yes, we have a section on our website called "guest requests". You can give each of your guests a user name and password. They log into a special page for your event and can choose a selected number of songs in our default database of over 50,000 songs. It will also show them what other songs have been requested by other guests and what are the most requested songs.

Certainly. As the bride and groom or host of the event, it is up to you. If there are certain songs that you do not want played, we will gladly comply. If a particular song is requested that you asked us not to play, we will ask you personally if we should play the song. This is your event.

Once you have registered for the festival, you will receive a Festival Packet that contains a form for requesting an approximate performance time. Many factors are considered at the time assignments are made, such as travel distance, size and number of groups from each school and time of registration. We will do our best to accommodate your request, however please keep in mind that these are just requests.

There is no central scheduling office for bands. To request a performance by a U.S. Army band, find a band near you and contact that band directly.

Well, first of all, we prefer that you turn in one request slip at a time. Each request slip has a place for two song requests; your first and second song. When you are called up for your second song, feel free to bring up your next request. If time permits, we'll go through the same process. Remember, you don't lose your place in the rotation unless your not there when we call your name. You snooze, you lose!!!

Submit at least 5 (five) songs that are available for publishing (i.e., not already contracted, licensed or made unavailable). They should all be of CD radio-playable quality. Make sure that all of the copyright owners agree to participating, in the advent that you be accepted for representation.

It's fairly simple. After you have created your artist profile you will be able to upload songs directly from your artist page. We have a tutorial available if you have any troubles. Guest policies are explained in the Policies section of this website. Generally, you may have visitors over the age of 18 while the Information Desk is in operation. Guests are required to provide identification – Driver’s license, State-issued ID card, or a WCSU College ID. Friends under 18 years of age must provide parental consent to be allowed to visit in the halls.

Up to 25 guests will join us for a day, and with the inviting family atmosphere you may meet many interesting people from all over the world.

Guests are selected using a number of factors. These include (1) expertise, knowledge, or experience in a particular subject area, (2) potential "chemistry" with other guests, (3) known sense of humor, (4) comfort in front of a TV camera, (5) how well known they may be to the viewing public, and (6) contribution to the show's diversity. The program has a policy of putting people on the air who represent different views and who are not commonly seen on television.
