Yes, we accept transferable courses in which you received a grade of D--except for courses required for transfer admission (one college-level writing course and one college-level mathematics course) and for courses that satisfy the general-education requirements in writing, mathematics, and a second language. We accept transferable courses graded P or S.

Grades of "C" or higher are required for transfer. However, some schools may accept "C-" or "D" as elective credit only. If you are transferring among CCRI, RIC, and URI, a "D" can transfer for elective credit but specified prerequisite courses may require a "C" or better.

We will accept college-level academic course work from regionally accredited two- or four-year college or university. We will evaluate credits from colleges outside the United States on an individual basis. We accept credit for Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), and some kinds of credit by examination if those examinations are administered by another college. To grant transfer credit, we require official transcripts.

There is no maximum number of credits that can be transferred from a regionally accredited four-year college or university. Up to 124 credits from an accredited community or junior college may be applied to a bachelor's degree. Credits earned at a community or junior college are transferred as lower-division credits and cannot be used to satisfy the UO upper-division graduation requirement. If you have more than 124 credits, we will accept all of your course work but not the credits.

APU will not transfer courses in which a D grade was earned. A minimum C- grade is required for all transferable units.

There are two kinds of requirements for a degree from the UO: general-education requirements (courses taken by every student regardless of major) and major requirements (courses required by individual departments). An official evaluation of your transfer credits tells you which courses we have accepted and which courses will count toward your general-education requirements. The official evaluation of your transfer credits will be completed after you are admitted to the UO.

Charter Oak has a liberal credit transfer policy. We will accept most credits that have been successfully completed at other regionally accredited institutions. This includes up to 90 semester credits from regionally accredited, two-year colleges. Exceptions include courses in physical education, freshman orientation, and developmental courses. In order to receive transfer credit, you must have passed the course (normally a “P” or “D”). See “Before you Transfer ” for details.

Yes. You will receive transfer credit for a "D" grade. However, you must maintain the grade point average reported on your application and complete all reported in-progress or planned courses with grades of "C" or higher (some impacted majors require grades higher than "C" in specific major preparation courses). If you receive a grade of "D" or "F" during this academic year, or if your GPA drops below what you reported on your application, any offer of admission may be withdrawn.

You may transfer up to 6 credits from another institution. This includes courses taken as a “non-degree” student (see #8 below).

UMBC requires a grade of “C” or better for transfer credit from private and out-of-state institutions. For Maryland community colleges and University System of Maryland institutions, we will transfer coursework in which a grade of “D” or better is earned.

Generally, most US and Canadian institutions will and do accept credits earned at the ISS, but acceptance of transfer credits is always up to the home institution. We suggest that you check with your home institution prior to leaving for Norway for pre-approval of the transferring of credits. Credits earned at the International Summer School are identical with the ECTS-credits (European Community Course Credit Transfer System-credits).

Students will be able to transfer the language courses offered with ECTS credits to B?LG?, usually as full list electives. Students can extend their fall semester exchange programs to spring semester of the same academic year on the condition of approval by their Faculty Executive Boards. However, spring semester exchange study can not be extended to the following academic year.

All business and international core courses must be completed with grades of "C" (2.0) or better. The concentration courses in the accounting, information systems, management science and foreign language concentrations require "C's" or better. The courses within the other concentrations must be completed with "C" averages.

I already took physics in middle school, so I don’t want to take HTH math/physics in 9th grade. I already took Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II in middle school, so I don’t want to take HTH math/physics in 9th grade or math/chemistry in 10th grade.
