Create this (which is called a gradient fill) in Photoshop or Illustrator or whatever drawing or paint program you use, and place it in PageMaker. If you want to apply a color in PageMaker, make it a grayscale original rather than creating it in color. If you want to make it an EPS rather than a TIFF file, then make the preview a 1-bit preview (it won't look so good on screen but you'll be able to see the colour that you apply). A) The problem may be related to a connector going to the I/O board. In the lower left corner of the board is a male pin connector (J4) labeled "Printer". Check to make sure that nothing is connected to it, or disconnect anything that may be connected to it. Then try turning the game back on and see what happens. When half-Life starts loading, the tools will have already finished their compile. Sounds like your Video card doesn't like running both WC and H-L at once. I suggest running your compiles WITHOUT running the game. EXIT WC after the map compiles. Then run Half-Life with the "-dev -console" parameters (without the quotes). When it loads up, hit the "console" button. Then type in "map mymap" (again without the quotes), where "mymap" is the map filename WITHOUT the .bsp on the end. See similar questions...

Make sure the phone is turned on and fully charged. If your battery is drained it will shut off the phone, which results in a black screen. You must charge the phone and use the power button to turn it back on. If your battery is fully charged it could be due to the backlight being turned off. This only happens with the DV or DV-50 codecs when the Io playback setting in FCP audio video setting -> A/V devices is set to 10-bit. The solution is to set to 8-bits. Go to FCP system settings-> Effects handling: Make sure the effects handling of the sequence codec is set to Final Cut Pro. This is a known problem with the ATI Mach 64 video card. The problem is that this card uses address 2e8, and the fourth serial port does too. Due to a bug (feature?) in the sio(4) driver it will touch this port even if you do not have the fourth serial port, and even if you disable sio3 (the fourth port) which normally uses this address. Disable sio0, sio1, sio2 and sio3 (all of them). This way the sio driver does not get activated -> no problems. See similar questions...

Your monitor resolution is set larger than the display area of the software. Space Update runs at a resolution of 640x480 pixels, while Earth Update runs at 800x600. To get the software to run full screen adjust your monitor settings in your System's Control Panels.
