For mail client configurations (outlook express/Netscape etc) use outgoing SMTP server IP address configuration as 202.144.76.25 for incoming IMAP server IP address get the same from the corresponding provider. If you are using Sify mail accounts (@sify.com or @satyam.net.in) please configure IMAP IP address as 202.144.76.55

Select "POP3" from the pull-down menu as your server type. Then enter "popo.ctimail.com*" or "pop1.ctimail.com*" as your incoming mail server and "smtpo.ctimail.com" as your outgoing mail server. Here are notes on setting up MS Outlook Express for email access under MS Windows 98. One of the nice features about MS Outlook Express is the ability to setup multiple email accounts. We will use, in this outline, an example user named John Smith with an RXN mail account name of smith@rxn.com and a dialup PPP account name of Psmith. E-mail Address: This would be the username of the account you created in the Control Panel, plus, the "@" symbol follow by your domain. Example: username_you_chose@yourdomain.com.

Set the email address to the address you have set up using the Cpanel. Set "my incoming mail server" to POP3 (default) and set "Incoming Mail (Pop3 or Imap) server" to mail.yourname.com and "Outgoing mail SMTP server" to either the outgoing mail settings for your internet service provider or providing your internet provider allows access to a 3rd party server set to mail.yourname.com, (replacing yourname.com with your unique domain name.

Outlook Wizard will take over. Be careful about few details: For Mail Server Type choose POP3. For Incoming Mail type pop3.yourdomain.com For Outgoing Mail type smtp.yourprovider.com Yourprovider.com determines ISP of your Internet access.
