Since PIN and PUK codes belong to the actual SIM card, we are unable to provide any support and codes. Although your phone is unlocked, your service and/or subscription may not yet be activated yet. Or your phone may not support an appropriate band standard for the selected operator.

The standard PIN is 1111. We advise you to change this code the first time you use the SIM to a code you can remember easily.

Ans: PIN - Personal Identification Number (PIN is used to guard against unauthorized use of SIM Card.) PUK - Personal Unblocking Key (PUK 1 is used to unblock PIN 1)

PIN- is necessary for protection from non-sanctioned access to your SIM-card. PIN-code is known to you only and should be entered each time when you switch your phone on. Please remember your PIN-code (or let it be a combination of figures well-known to you that you should enter when switching your phone on for the first time). If you failed to enter your correct PIN code 3 times in succession, SIM-card will be blocked. You can unblock your telephone by PUK code only.

If your telephone asks PIN-code and you have forgotten it, you will need PUK code. PUK code is indicated on the card-certificate attached to your SIM-card. If you have lost your card-certificate, please call the network 5+ Service Center. After switching your telephone on, “Enter PIN-code” will be displayed. Enter any PIN-code. After you have entered incorrect PIN-code three times, telephone will ask your PUK-code.

If you have forgotten the pin code or if you have entered the wrong pin code three times, you can set up a new pin code using your eight digit PUK code. The PUK code comes with your SIM card and should be entered into the phone when prompted (please refer to section 3 (PUK code) for instructions on how to unlock your SIM). If you have lost the PUK code you should contact Customer Service.

If your PIN code number has been entered into your phone incorrectly more than 3 times, your SIM card will automatically be blocked. You will require the personal unblocking code (PUK number) to unblock your SIM card. Your personal PUK number is supplied in your SIM card connector pack. If you have misplaced the connector pack, please fax a signed request to Smartcom’s Customer Service on (011) 507 4650 and your relevant PUK number will be supplied to you.

A PIN code is an alpha/numeric character made up of from 4 to 7 characters that a company or consultant creates for themselves. This code becomes your electronic signature when filing an application through RADIUS. The PIN code is case sensitive, therefore always use upper case for any alpha characters.

If you enter the wrong PIN code 3 times in a row, your mobile phone asks you for your PUK code. The PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code is used to unblock your mobile phone. If you enter the wrong PUK code 10 times in a row, your SIM card will remain definitively blocked. In this case, contact Mobistar customer services.

A PUK Code is an 8 digit code that a person must use to unblock his phone. A phone is blocked when a person tries to enter a wrong PIN Code several times in a row. However, if this person repeatedly enters one wrong PUK Code after the other, his CHIPPIE SIM-card will be permanently blocked. This means that he can't use his CHIPPIE SIM-card anymore. He must buy a new CHIPPIE SIM-card.

You will receive your PIN and PUK codes in your ACN welcome letter. If you have lost your PUK code, you can request it to be emailed to you via DeinACN Mobile. You will only receive an email reminder of your PUK code if you have entered a valid email address in DeinACN Mobile.

Ans: If customers enter incorrect PIN code 3 times in succession, the SIM card will be blocked. In this situation, customer will need the PUK code to unblock the SIM card. To unblock please follow the following process: enter PUK 1 then press OK > PIN 1 & press OK > PIN 1 & OK. Please remember that PUK 1 is needed for unblocking PIN 1. If anyone enters wrong PUK code TEN times, his/her SIM card will be permanently blocked.
