In January 2004 we set up a Stumpy Moose Shop through CafePress.com. At the moment, a very limited range of merchandise - a T-shirt and a sticker - is available but we hope to add to this shortly. Unfortunately, because the store is based in the United States, the cost of shipping to Europe is quite high for individual items. We're currently looking at ways of getting around this.

Not really. At the moment, we make no money from Stumpy Moose and run the whole thing for fun, at a small loss. Since May 2003, we've been part of the Amazon.co.uk Associates Programme, but it seems unlikely that we'll make enough money from that to cover our costs. From February 2004 we're also including a PayPal button on the homepage, on the off-chance that anyone might want to contribute towards our running costs.

The BSC merchandise has been discontinued, although I occasionally hear of fans who have been lucky enough to find a game or a doll at a toy store. Also, I know that eBay (the online auction site) is a good source for many hard-to-find items like these.

The core team behind Stumpy Moose is a group of friends who met at high school in Fleetwood, a fishing town in northern England, in the early 1990s. We’re scattered all over the place now, with team members in Sheffield (England), Liverpool, Prague in the Czech Republic, and the Toronto area of Canada. We also have occasional correspondents in Split, Croatia and Brisbane, Australia.
