You will need 2 control ballasts, 2 ignitor units, special high voltage wiring, and 2 HID light sources. This is the bare minimum to allow the HID system to work. First, you need to have a diesel engine. Any engine that runs on diesel #2 will run on biodiesel. Other than having a diesel engine, there is nothing you need to do specifically to convert your car to biodiesel. No. This is one of the most pervasive and destructive myths in the VW world. Removing the flaps will actually make the engine run hotter! The right-side flap, when it is "open", serves two very important functions. The flap splits the air coming from the fan into two parts. It ducts one part down through the oil cooler, and it ducts the other half to the head and cylinders. Without this flap, the cooling air flows over the top of the cooler instead of down through it. The ethanol-blended gasoline that is commonly sold throughout Canada and the United States contains 6% to 10% ethanol. The HydroGen System is wired to work when the engines are running. Hydrogen is only produced while the engine is running. Once the engine is shut off, the hydrogen production stops and any hydrogen in the unit is simply dissipated. When the HydroGen units are operating at optimum levels, the units produce approximately 1 liter of hydrogen and oxygen every 4 seconds.
