When the "Facade Settings" pages are used to make changes to Facade, the current home screen will be shut down and reloaded so that the changes can be seen immediately. On very rare occasions WM5 does not seem to like this, resulting in a non-functional Start button. The solution is to reboot the phone, either using the "Reset" button from the Facade launcher bar, or by using the power button to turn the phone off and then on again.

There may several reasons why a radar is not in operation but primarily will be due to either a part that has failed or it is just routine maintain. Check the Status reports page of the Dopper radar. These are messages describing the anticipated time the radar is to be out of service.

Download managers increase your download speed by connecting to the server multiple times. Doing this does not significantly increase download speeds but dramatically hurts the performance of the server. If you wish to use queue to download from the HTTP servers, be sure you set your download program to only use one connection at a time.

The microphone for the RA 27, RE 14 and RE 27 is not a serviceable item. Although delicate and very accurate it is quite affordable to replace in the event yours is broken or missing. Just contact the Parts Department and tell them you wish to order a replacement analyzer microphone, (a k a MIC 1; no fancy part number needed here.)

Generally if your brake stopped working entirely, you have an electrical problem. This is most likely a failed switch (probably a fuel pump or clutch switch). You can usually confirm this by hot-wiring the brake, bringing battery power directly to the solenoid leads (with the engine at idle). Be sure to disconnect the existing leads to the solenoids so that you do not damage your control system. If the brake does not operate when hot-wired, you may have a solenoid failure.

Confirm that you have the correct digitizer selected in DFP Plus. Also confirm that you have the correct communications port selected. Power off the computer and digitizer. Power on the digitizer and then the computer. When the digitizer is powered on it should beep twice, and the small green LED on the cursor should light up. Check the power and connector cables. Make sure that the cables are connected correctly at both ends and that there are no bends or crimps in them.

Right Click Network Adapters and click Scan for Hardware Changes, the network adapter will be reinstalled.
