The starting salary for a Correction Officer is $26,667 for the first six months. Upon completion of six months the salary will rise to$ 34,742. If you are totally disabled from all forms of employment, it is theoretically possible for you to receive wage-loss benefits for the rest of your life. This, however, is unlikely to occur.
