Everyones hair is different and this is a personal thing. I suggest only up to 3 months. Your hair will grow while the extensions are in and may start to pull on your scalp due to the weight of the extensions. It is also a good idea to take them out and give your head a rest at the 3 month mark. Also, the newly grown hair may have a tendency to dread up if let to grow too long. I normally take my out after 6-8 weeks because I like to dye my hair and change it every so often.

Hair Extensions are not for everyone. However, a large majority of clients can and would benefit. You must have at least 2” of length on top to obtain extensions.
