WebCT uses Java (and JavaScript, a scripting language that does smaller jobs of this sort), so you need to have Java on your PC. Most browsers come with Java and JavaScript active already, but some do not. The most common problem we’ve seen recently is newer computers with Windows XP that don’t have Java on them.
