When a new card is sent to you a new PIN will be sent automatically, except where the new card replaces an expired card. If you wish to use a different number for your PIN you must visit a Personal Financial Centre to change your PIN. You cannot change your PIN over the phone, at an ATM or another financial institution.

You will not be able to retrieve your old PIN, but if you call the automated response line at 1-800-955-7070 and follow the prompts, you will be able to create a new one right over the phone

Yes. Each client will be able to choose a PIN number. Some PINs will initially be assigned automatically and mailed, but can be changed immediately by the cardholder. Cardholders should choose a PIN number that is easy to remember but not easy to guess. For example, it is not a good idea to use birth dates as PIN numbers, because that is easy to guess. Clients can change their PIN as often as they like. There is no cost to the cardholder to change the PIN.

No. Adelaide Bank highly values customer security and makes every effort to reduce the possibility of fraud on bank accounts. Because of this, we do not allow our customers to choose their own PIN. Your PIN is a random, computer generated number that is made known only to you; even Bank staff are unaware of this number. Should you misplace or lose your PIN, Bank staff can re-order it via computer but will not be able to read it out to you.

Each PAYlution card is pre-encoded with a PIN, which is required to authorize ATM or POS transaction requests. If you lose or forget your PIN, you will need to request a new card by contacting your Program Operator.
