First of all, the cause of the dark tooth must be determined. It could be due to an earlier trauma to the tooth or previous root canal treatment. In such a case external teeth whitening treatments may not help. Your dentist may try internal bleaching which may take several sessions. If not, consider dental bonding, porcelain veneers, or capping the tooth to mask the darkness.

There are 2 critical features you should look for. First, the type of fuel it uses. It must be a clean burning fuel such as butane. Most other lighter fuels give off a chemical or kerosene-like odor that will alter the taste of your cigar. Secondly, the lighter must provide a large enough flame to light the whole cigar. The answer is "No". Dark stains are harder to maintain in that they show dust and damage faster than lighter stain colors. Also, they fade in areas where windows and glass doors are exposed to sunlight. No, for many reasons. The end result is the same with office power bleaching or at-home nightly bleaching, and at-home bleaching is sure a lot less expensive.
