Residential trash and recyclables are collected once a week on Wednesday. Trash and recyclables should be placed curbside on Tuesday night. Upon termination of service, recycle bins not returned will constitue a $10.00 charge.

Bulky item pickup is available free six (6) times per year to San Dimas residents through Waste Management. Please call Waste Management 48 hours prior to collection 800-266-7551.

Holiday collections are scheduled for Wednesday's. If a Township listed holiday occurs on any collection day, the collection for that day will occur on Wednesday of the holiday week. For example, if the holiday is on Monday or Tuesday the refuse/recycling material is placed curbside on Wednesday before 6:00 am. If the holiday is on Thursday or Friday the refuse/recycling material is placed curbside on Wednesday before 6:00 am prior to that holiday.

Trash pickup is delayed 1 day for the following holidays; Christmas Day, New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day and Thanksgiving Day.

By City Ordinance, the resident must put out the containers by 6:30 AM (summer hours) or 7:30 AM (winter hours) in order for the sanitation crews to pickup your trash. Please check this website, Cox Cable Channel 3 or call Public Works at 238-7142 for time changes.

Yes. B.F.I. picks up the trash at your curb side once a week. They also furnish "polycarts" to put your trash in, but these containers need to be retrieved after being emptied and placed where they can not be observed from the street.

We ask that pickups be scheduled in advance, preferably in a one hour time frame. If you have a doorman, you may leave the movie(s) downstairs, as long as there is someone available to sign for the pickup.

All household trash not presently being picked up at curbside for recycling (recyclable items include glass, metal, & plastic containers, paper, cardboard, & yard waste). We also do not pick up household hazardous waste (paint, chemicals, fluorescent bulbs, tires, car batteries). Alkaline batteries are safe to dispose with household trash.

You can call the utilities billing office at 330-499-4801, their office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with voicemail available after business hours. The billing office will take your address and call the trash hauler to let them know you were missed. In most instances your trash will be picked up on the next pickup day.

We do not ship on weekends. For urgent orders, always email us first to confirm on the shipping dates.

All large items and piles of tree clippings should be placed in front of your house in the swale area. The swale area is the area of between the sidewalk and the street. Please be sure that when you stack these items to be picked up, you do not stack it up against a utility pole or over you water meter. Building materials would be wood, concrete blocks, ceramic tiles and any other material used in construction. The City will not pick up building materials.

pm the day before is the normal time for setout and the container should be taken in by 6am the day after pickup.
