Do I need to install 110 or 220 volt electric to the gate operator?

C:\fencecom\public_html\hooverfence\server-side\fencecom-foo...
No. The unit is operated by a 12 volt battery located inside the control box. The batteries are trickle-charged by a transformer that plugs into a standard 110 volt outlet. The wire from that transformer to the control box is a low voltage wire that can be up to 1000' long. For longer distances, the 110 volt electric would have to be installed closer to the gate or solar panels can be purchased to recharge the battery.

For best reception, be sure the antenna is free from obstructions. Due to the paths of the Sirius satellites over the US, the best location for the antenna in your home depends on where you live. Redirect the antenna until you get a better signal. If you are driving, the signal should clear up when you drive away from the obstruction. Antenna aiming can vary according to the time of the day. When signal is lost, check the antenna signal and strength.

Then, plug in a table lamp or small radio that you know is working properly. Push in the RESET button on the GFCI. The lamp or radio should turn ON. Then push the TEST button. The lamp or radio should go OFF. If both the RESET and TEST buttons are working, the appliance you had plugged in it is previously is damaged and a potential shock hazard.

My Xbox turns on as soon as the power cord is plugged in!?

HOW TO: Troubleshooting and FAQ for Xbox
Xbox turns itself on? Won't turn off? You have corrosion issues at the front of your motherboard. Here's a step by step from my good friend DarkMatter. The X-Box fails to power down using the power on/off button on the front panel. The power cord has to be pulled out to shut it down. As soon as the power cord is plugged in, the X-Box powers up without pressing either the on/off or eject buttons. While the X-Box is on for a certain amount of time, it shuts down by itself for no reason.

My gauge works fine on battery power, but not with the AC adapter plugged in. Why?

MARK-10:Force Gauges,Torque Gauges, Force Measurement, Torqu...
A likely reason for this is internal damage due to use of an AC adapter with a incorrect polarity plug. MARK-10 gauges require a plug with the center contact positive (+). Some adapters (e.g. Mitutoyo) use plugs with the center contact negative. The use of such a device even momentarily will damage the circuitry inside the gauge.
