You may keep it plugged in, however, since the 110 Volt power will generate a continual charge to the batteries, it is important to check the water level every two weeks, and add water to the batteries if necessary.
Electrical FAQ answers by Licensed Philadelphia Electrician,...
Thomas Edison [no kidding] invented the electric light bulb, and needed to distribute electricity to make it usable. He built a system based on 110 volts DC. It was uneconomical and had large conductors and big voltage drops. George Westinghouse came up with the idea of using alternating current to transmit electricity.
Excelsys Technologies - 3gen
You can get 1000 watts of output power by connecting across 2 phases of a 3 phase supply (normally 208 volts).

Simply put, they are all the same. The actual voltage is typically between 117 volts and 124 volts; 110, 115, and 120 (and 220, 230, and 240) are just names that come out of history.
FAQ's – Frequently Asked Questions
This is NOT recommended. There is a voltage drop in long cords so cooling performance will be degraded.
No. The unit is operated by a 12 volt battery located inside the control box. The batteries are trickle-charged by a transformer that plugs into a standard 110 volt outlet. The wire from that transformer to the control box is a low voltage wire that can be up to 1000' long. For longer distances, the 110 volt electric would have to be installed closer to the gate or solar panels can be purchased to recharge the battery.
Duct Stat FAQ
The DuctStat has a 6 feet long power cord with a grounded plug. Simply plug it into the nearest outlet. If you do not have an electric outlet within 6 feet, you will have to install one.

For best reception, be sure the antenna is free from obstructions. Due to the paths of the Sirius satellites over the US, the best location for the antenna in your home depends on where you live. Redirect the antenna until you get a better signal. If you are driving, the signal should clear up when you drive away from the obstruction. Antenna aiming can vary according to the time of the day. When signal is lost, check the antenna signal and strength.
PAiA Corp: FAQ
No, not at this time. International builders usually replace the 110VAC wall-mounted supply with a locally acquired 220V equivalent. Our kits can be ordered with or without this power supply (look for the "international version" on the product pages). If you're not sure what specs would be required for a specific replacement we're happy to help.

If your GFCI is working properly, it will shut off power to help prevent a hazardous ground fault condition. First, unplug the appliance from the GFCI. Then, plug in a table lamp or small radio that you know is working properly. Push in the RESET button on the GFCI. The lamp or radio should turn ON. Then push the TEST button. The lamp or radio should go OFF. If both the RESET and TEST buttons are working, the appliance you had plugged in it is previously is damaged and a potential shock hazard.
HOW TO: Troubleshooting and FAQ for Xbox
Xbox turns itself on? Won't turn off? You have corrosion issues at the front of your motherboard. Here's a step by step from my good friend DarkMatter. The X-Box fails to power down using the power on/off button on the front panel. The power cord has to be pulled out to shut it down. As soon as the power cord is plugged in, the X-Box powers up without pressing either the on/off or eject buttons. While the X-Box is on for a certain amount of time, it shuts down by itself for no reason.
MARK-10:Force Gauges,Torque Gauges, Force Measurement, Torqu...
A likely reason for this is internal damage due to use of an AC adapter with a incorrect polarity plug. MARK-10 gauges require a plug with the center contact positive (+). Some adapters (e.g. Mitutoyo) use plugs with the center contact negative. The use of such a device even momentarily will damage the circuitry inside the gauge.
The Macintosh IIci Site
There is a sticker on the back of the IIci that mentions a fuse. Unfortunately, this seems to be a mistake. I don't have a fuse in my IIci and others I've spoken to report the same. If you have a fuse, please let me know (and what brand of power supply you have).
