A Passkey is a 32 character key associated with your account that uniquely identifies you as a registered Long Live Rock user. When a .torrent file is downloaded your unique Passkey is automatically added to the Announce URL in the .torrent file. Therefore whenever that .torrent is used the tracker will associate it with your account, no matter what IP you are connecting from.

In order to prevent our .torrents from being uploaded to public sites (in effect turning this into a public tracker), there are a number of security measures in place. First among them is the following: if, at any time, there are more than 5 distinct IPs simultaneously using the same passkey with the same torrent, the account associated with the passkey will be automatically get a new passkey.

You can use a Passkey or similar passthrough device attached to your NDS in order to install FlashMe. You then run the flashme.nds as you would any other NDS rom on your M3. Once you have FlashMe installed, you might not need your PassKey again. It is also possible to use WifiMe to install FlashMe. If you are able to use WifiMe, the PassKey is not necessary.

The Headset/Handsfree passkey is 0000, and is used when pairing the Handsfree with another device. The passkey is not possible to change. Check whether the Bluetooth mode in your phone is set to On. If not, please change the setting to On.

Remember that a Passkey uniquely identifies you on the tracker and therefore if someone knew it they would be able to leech from your account. Should you suspect your Passkey has been compromised simply create a new one. Note that by resetting your Passkey you will invalidate all the .torrent files that you may have previously downloaded, and will have to download them again. You will only be able to reset your Passkey if you are currently not seeding or leeching.
