You may change your password from the Preferences. In the Preference tree, Change Password is under Server Preferences.

To update your password, log in to your member account by typing in your email and password. Once there click on the “change password” link and type in a new password and click the “submit” button to save your new password. You can now access the site with your new password. To reset your password, click on the “Forgot Password” button under the customer login section. On the next page enter your email address and click the “Send email” button.

In an effort to promote better security and accountability, a password check has been implemented. Your password must be at least five characters long, and cannot be in the dictionary file. Our dictionary file contains about 24,000 common words from a standard hacking tool dictionary.

First, log in to the site using your current username and password. After logging in, you will see a link at the top of the page called "My Profile." Once you are in your profile, you will be able to change your contact information, email address, username, and password. All changes will be made to your account immediately. There is no need to log in again. Welcome back we’re happy you’re with us again this year.

Assuming that $wgPasswordSalt is set to true (the default), you can use the following SQL query: UPDATE user SET user_password = MD5(CONCAT(user_id, '-', MD5('somepass'))) WHERE user_name = 'someuser'; Where obviously "somepass" is changed to the password you want to set and "someuser" is changed to the user name as it is listed in the table "user".
