Currently, we have a UEI code for Universal remotes manufactured by ONEFORALL and Radio Shack. The UEI code is T0587. The ONEFORALL remotes supported are: URC-9962*, URC-9910*, URC-8910*, URC-8811, URC-8010, URC-8010, and URC-6010. The Radio Shack model supported is 15-2133. (Note: * upgradeable over the phone)

This means the gain can be adjusted in the radio. A non-remote gain capable gyro has a control on it that you use a screw driver to turn for more or less gain. A remote gain capable gyro has an extra plug that goes to the gear channel. With this type you can use the gyro menu in the radio to adjust the gain. If it's an older or cheaper radio that does not have a gyro menu, then you can use the gear ATV to adjust the gain.

You can run RemoteExec with the runas command and the /netonly option (using an administrator account of the remote computer/domain) or you can create the same administrator account (login and password) on the remote computer and on the local computer and execute RemoteExec locally under this account. You should check that DCOM is enabled on the remote computer. You can do this with the tool dcomcnfg.exe. In the Default Properties tab "Enable distributed COM on this computer" should be checked.

Place the remote control for Media Center PC head to head (2 to 3 inches apart) with the remote from which it is learning. On the remote control for Media Center PC, press and hold the DVD MENU and OK buttons at the same time until the remote control lights turn off (2 seconds). On the remote control for Media Center PC, press and release the TV, VOL+, or VOL- button, depending on which command you want it to learn.
