The demo of our text reader software ships with only a single voice, Mary from Microsoft. There may be other voices on your computer already that will also work. Sam Etic" (a play on 'semitic') is really Dustin Hoffman. He played Mr. Bergstrom in "Lisa's Subsitute" in season 2. "John Jay Smith" is really Michael Jackson. Cepstral has a full complement of North American languages (US English, French Canadian and Americas' Spanish) as well as UK English, German, and Italian. Yes, we can use both a male and female voice on your program. We call it alternating voices. There is a small additional charge because we have to pay both voices to read your script. We can take it one step at a time, by using a male voice over initially and then using a female voice over for updates ? then creating a mixed program.
