Will you produce my radio drama script?

well, you see..
We can't guarantee that we'll produce your script, but we'd love to take a look. Email us a copy (ASCII text, PDF, or Microsoft Word format) at radio@compound-eye.org. We have broadcasted our stories on the radio since it is the most obvious medium for audio-only stories, but we are also using the Internet for distribution. See similar questions...

What script format should I use?

BBC - writersroom - Writing for the BBC
You don't have to follow format examples too slavishly in order to submit work to writersroom. All we ask is that the script sent to us is typed, pages numbered, double-spaced, clearly laid out and printed on one side of A4 only. Our Script Smart formatting tool is available to help as a template, but please remember this is intended for guidance, not as a prerequisite for having your script fully read. How do I call one script-fu script from another?

GIMP - Documentation
The trick to calling script-fu-scripts from another script is to just reference the main define for the script and not to try to use the pdb call. All the scripts in script-fu share a common name space; you call other scripts just like a regular function / define / whatever you call those those things in_scheme. See similar questions...

What is Script-Fu?

GIMP - Documentation
Script-Fu is the first GIMP scripting extension. Extensions are separate processes that communicate with the GIMP in the same way that plug-ins do. The distinction is that extensions don't require an active image to operate on, instead extending GIMP's functionality. GIMP internals for version 1.0 have been completely overhauled from version 0.54. In particular, the plug-in API has been made far more general with the advent of the procedural database (PDB). Why aren't your episodes in script format? Wouldn't it be faster?

Frequently Asked Questions :: The Chosen, A Buffy Virtual Co...
Honestly, yes, it would be faster. So much. On a good day, if she's really on a roll, Jet Wolf can script an entire episode in three to four days. The prosing, now that's a total bitch. But the reason behind choosing to prose is very important, and not just because reading scripts is headache-inducing. When you shoot an actual episode, you have the benefit of so many little details helping you along. Camera angles, editing and transitions, music, lighting, costumes, ACTORS. Do I have to format my script? And do I need fancy software for that?

Help/FAQ | Script Frenzy
Yep. As a blueprint for a movie or play, a script needs to be formatted in order for anyone---an actor, an agent, another writer, your dad---to read it as you envision it being seen. Learning how to format as a script writer is like learning how to draft as an architect. It makes your art accessible. Formatting is also less scary than you think! There are many software programs out there to help! We've highlighted four for you to check out on our Writing Software page. See similar questions...

Do you have radio cables for my particular radio?

SignaLink FAQ
With the exception of our 13-pin cables, ALL of the SignaLink radio cables are UNIVERSAL and will work with ANY radio, so long as you select one with the right type of connector (see Question #5). We have made this possible by wiring our cables "straight-through" (pin #1 to pin #1, pin #2 to pin #2, etc.), and using push-in jumper wires to connect the mic lines of the radio to the same lines in the SignaLink (PTT to PTT, Ground to Ground, etc.). Can a put a radio in?

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, either on the tunnel or hidden in the (street dash) glovebox. There is space for 4 speakers - two at the footbox sides and two behind the seats. Most people prefer to listen to the engine's music, however. Why do you offer two different dashboards? The original 427 (as opposed to the street 427) had the speedometer mounted in the center of the dash, and it didn't have a glove box. See similar questions...

What are the settings for my radio?

Frequently Asked Questions
I would not be able to give exact values as there are many differences even between identical setups. Besides it is best to do the setups individually to give the most optimal settings. I can however give some pitch setting to go with for learning to hover. I have setup a lot of helicopters and for those just starting out I always setup 0 degrees blade pitch for bottom stick position, 5 degrees for the middle stick position, and 9 degrees for the top. Which radio should I buy?

FAQ - Dmoz/Recreation/Aviation/Model_Aviation/Radio_Controll...
There are new radios being produced every year, and old radios are being retired from production to make room, so this document cannot recommend a specific make or model. However, it can offer a few ideas that will hopefully make your decision easier. Most radios on the market at the time of this writing fall into one of three categories, as follows. The prices are of course approximate. See similar questions...

How can I test the radio system?

FAQ - Dmoz/Recreation/Aviation/Model_Aviation/Radio_Controll...
If you're having control problems (and it's not just lack of practice ), a simple check called a "range test" is in order. And if you're not having radio trouble, it is still a good idea to do a range test before each day's flying session. The life you save may be your own. Turn on the transmitter and receiver, collapse the transmitter antenna to the shortest length possible, and walk away from the helicopter. See similar questions...

What is radio astronomy?

Frequently Asked Questions About Radio Astronomy
You can read this screen because your eyes detect light. Light consists of electromagnetic waves. The different colors of light are electromagnetic waves of different lengths. Visible light, however, covers only a small part of the range of wavelengths in which electromagnetic waves can be produced. Radio waves are electromagnetic waves of much greater wavelength than those of light. See similar questions...
