If all of the symbols are being inserted the wrong size then change the "Scale Factor:" setting on the Lode Data Project Configuration Dialog. If individual symbols are the wrong size then open up the appropriate Settings Dialog and set the individual scale factor for the desired block.

Inserting icons and symbols is a feature of XL Pro Platinum Edition, Version 6 builds 19.74 and higher. If you do not have build 19.75 or higher, you will need to download the latest version of XL Pro Platinum Edition. Icons and symbols can be inserted by clicking on the "S" on the XL Pro Command Bar. The Symbols and Icons Library pages can be turned on and off at any time.

The station circle represents the cloud cover; open circle means clear; and a completely covered circle means 100% cloud cover (or fog). The line extending outward from the station circle is called a wind barb and represents the wind flow; where the wind is blowing from the direction of the barb (north is towards the top of the map and east is towards the viewer's right). The line(s) extending from the end of the barb are called feathers and represent the windspeed.

Use tags. <G> stands for green mana, for example. The full list of tags can be found in the Help file.

Looking through all his artwork, we decided it'd be cool if he created something new. So if anybody asks what they mean, its like "Traa, Wuv, Sonny and Jason". There's no meaning, it's something cool we did for ourselves.

Each symbol is composed of the first two letters of the genus+first two letters of the species+first letter of the terminal infraspecific name+tiebreaking number (if needed). Genus and family symbols are the first five (genus) or six (family) letters of the name, plus tiebreaking number (if needed). Symbols were first used in the Soil Conservation Service’s National List of Scientific Plant Names (NLSPN), and have been perpetuated in the PLANTS system.

In general, small fonts won't ever look quite as nice as large ones. But there are a couple of things to try. Make sure you are using an outline font as opposed to a bitmapped font. For details, check any book on using the X Window System, such as O'Reilly & Associates X Window System User's Guide (Volume 3 of their excellent X series). If your image is GRAYSCALE or RGB (ie. not INDEXED) when there's a toggle button in the text tool which turns antialiased text on and off.

Simply change the name of the function that is called; if you want to the large version use colorPop and if you want the small version use colorPopMini. the bottom of the block does include a very small "logo" with my company name, phone number, email address and the number of the block ex: (not actual size; it is smaller) this, i consider, to be my stamp on a hand made object, similar to what an artist would do on a piece of their art.

Instead of specifying the X and Y scale factors, you can just leave an (or blank line) in the script. Any blank line (is equivalent to hitting ) accepts the default prompt in AutoCAD. If you want to turn off the "Enter attribute values:" prompt see When I insert a block, AutoCAD keeps asking "Enter attribute values"... If you are intentionally wanting the block to be inserted and NOT exploded, you may get some more prompts generated by AutoCAD asking you to "Enter attribute values:".

Make sure the symbol line color is different from the symbol fill color. Open the symbol map properties, click the button in the symbol group, and then check the line and fill colors in the symbol properties dialog box.

Word provides the Symbol command to enable users to insert a variety of special characters while editing documents. The Symbol dialog box stays open on screen while editing a document. This provides greater flexibility while inserting and editing special characters. To insert a special symbol: Click on the Insert button, or using your mouse, double click on the selected character and it will automatically be inserted

The smallest size we carry is 6 5/8. The largest size is 8. We will always carry core products in full size runs -- 6 5/8 through 8. Unfortunately, our vendors do not always make "Limited Edition" styles in full size runs, so they may be unavailable in smaller and/or larger sizes. We are always working with our vendors to expand size ranges offered.

Actually, I'd say that Susan and I spend about fifty percent of the time working on larger paintings. But because larger paintings take between one to two weeks to complete and a smaller painting just a day or two, the actual number of small paintings we complete far outnumbers the larger paintings. Plein-air landscapes are even faster, and it's pretty common on a trip to do two or even three a day.
