I keep getting a message "unable to contact proxy.techinfo.com.au' when MS Internet Explorer starts. I get a Telstra message saying something like "the number you are calling is disconnected...."

Public network exchange points are a good thing, but they often suffer from traffic congestion. The frame rate is as good as the upload speed of the internet service on the DVR end. The faster the upload speed, the faster the overall frame rate will become. The frame rate displayed on the Web Client Viewer is irrelevant to the actual recording rate on the DVR. The minimum Internet connection is a 56K modem. A faster connection will allow you to successfully view videos and listen to audio clips directly from the Internet. All of the Tooling U classes are still functional if you choose to disable the audio and video when you are working on a slow connection.
