Descriptors can be stored on the stack or heap. The normal limitations apply as for other Symbian OS variables: Stack descriptors should be kept small: a 256 byte limit (128 double-byte characters) is a good guide. See 6. Generally, ou can upload large files up to 300MB each. Experience has shown that files larger than 300MB can be difficult to upload and download for some users. If you want to send files that are larger than 300MB, you will generally need to split them first. The server will not allow uploads of files that exceed this limit, unless you are a Pro member, where the limit is 1.5 GB.

You will not be able to send any emails when your mailbox reaches 4.5 MB (approx. 4500 KB) of space used. You will not be able to receive or send any emails when your mailbox reaches 5MB (approx. 5000 KB) of space used.

We have an extremely generous limit of 35 MB. This translates to about 25 MB of original attachments before the encoding process (MIME) adds its overhead. Please be aware that your ISP may have a much lower size limit (see below).

Playing audio and video files over the Internet is a lot more complicated then playing files locally on your PC. Because of bandwidth restrictions, specifically for dial-up users, large files can take a long time, up to hours, to load and play over the Internet. We cap file sizes so that it doesn't take users 4 hours to load your clip.

Certainly it is reasonable to plan on cells with thousands of nodes and perhaps tens of thousands of users. Yes. MP3 files cannot exceed 15mb in size. If you attempt to upload a song file that is larger than this, you will get a "server not found" error while uploading. This occurs when the upload is interrupted because the file you are uploading exceeds 15mb in size. Anything that is uploaded (MP3, photos, etc..) cannot exceed this file size limit or they will be cutoff during upload.
