Oxygen is the staling agent for coffee. In order to maintain freshness, we package our beans in a one way valve-bag immediately after they are roasted. By using the valve-bags, the beans remain fresh for four months. Do not freeze or refrigerate the coffee and store it in an airtight container in a cool, dry area.

Gloria Jean's tea boxes have a date on the bottom of the box; it is a 4-digit number. This is the production date expressed as a Julian calendar. Take the number 3322 for example. The first number 3 in the sequence stands for the year, so it would be 2003. The next three digits are the days of the year. The 322nd day of the year is Nov 18. The shelf life is 15 months from the manufacture date.

The shelf life that we place on our K-cups is a "best by" date for 6 months. The K-cup packaging is packaged with less than 1% oxygen through our nitrogen flush process.

With proper storage and handling, chiller products will last for one month. The product does not become harmful after seven days (assuming it has not been mixed with milk). The shelf life dates on the packaging are there to ensure top quality of the product.

DiffusiMAX kits are stable for twelve (12) months. Similarly, DiffusiMAX pre-mixed cream has a shelf life of twelve (12) months. Once compounded with drugs, DiffusiMAX prescriptions are stable for six (6) months.

If the bottle is unopened, still sealed with it's plastic wrap-around seal, and kept out of direct sunlight, Bee-Quick will remain ready-to-use for years. Once opened, the shelf-life depends upon how tightly you screw the cap back on. The bottle contains only a limited amount of air, and Bee-Quick reacts with air (oxidation/evaporation) to produce Bee-Quick vapors.

The shelf-life for maple syrup is about six months in the refrigerator. The shelf-life for un-coated maple candy is about two weeks on the shelf or in the refrigerator, and for coated maple candy about six months at room temperature. (Coated maple candy should not be kept in the refrigerator.) The shelf-life for maple cream is about two weeks in the refrigerator but it can be stored frozen for a long period of time.

In the original container, the full strength shelf life is over 20 years! The lid must always stay tightly closed so that the powder is not drawing odors from outside the container. The powder form is a "one time use" situation. The powder is best suited for areas where even distribution and quick odor control is desired.

The gravel form (packed in mesh bags) will last indefinitely. Each bag can be re-used over and over again. Once the bag has reached its full capacity to attract odors, simply place the bag in direct sunlight for 24 to 48 hours. After this time in direct sunlight, the product will be cleansed and ready to use again -- as good as new!

Like all health care products, there is a "best used before" date provided for each batch which is valid for two years from the date of manufacture. Scientifically, Dynamiclear is a stable solution and if handled correctly (sealed and stored out of sunlight) the product should not deteriorate or lose its potency. The best method of storage is to put the bottle of Dynamiclear in an air-tight jar or container and store it away from direct sunlight and magnetic fields in room temperature.

Sugar, properly stored, has an indefinite shelf life because it does not support microbial growth. Because C&H harvests its sugar cane year-round, you can expect optimum freshness and flavor at the time of your purchase.

Three years. We use a Julian code for our expiration dates. The first three numbers are our tea lot code. The next three refer to the date of production- that is also the day three years from now when the tea will expire- and the last digit is the year in which the tea will expire. Example: 2302537. This means that the tea in question was from lot 230, run on the 253rd day of the year, and will expire on the 253rd day of 2007. Our foil overwrap guarantees a three-year shelf life.
