GRKda counts words in a smart mode that cannot be found in any other existing word statistic program. GRKda understands HTML language and separates the words that search engines consider in their analyses. The total word count at the top of the Statistic page is the sum of all the words in HTML file that are visible, i.e. are inside an HTML category. GRKda does not take every category into account because the search engine does this too.

Use Keyword if you have a general topic or subject. It finds the word anywhere in the title, author, description, or subject (unless you specify just one of these fields). (More Information)

The text of the historical paper (Title page, notes, annotated bibliography, illustration captions, and appendix materials that are directly referred to in the text do not count) must be no less than 1, 500 words and no more than 2, 500 words in length. Each word or number in the text of the paper counts as one word. Unlike exhibits, words in quotations do count against the word limit in papers. Each part of a name counts as one word, so "Mark Van Doren" would count as 3 words.

If the document is in Microsoft® Word® use the "Word Count" function in the the Word® Tools menu. Just send us this figure. It never would have occurred to us to include this question in our FAQs had it not cropped up on such a regular basis. The answer is: yes, these words count, too. Translators generally base their rate on the word-count function in their text programs. And these count every single word. The rates as they stand are based on this principle.

If it is feasible, try opening the file with the corresponding program, and saving it as a different format. If the format shows as supported in our list, try saving it in the same format, but for an older version of the program. The safest option in this regard is saving it as a "Plain Text File". Keyword Targeting is the process of finding which set of keywords are the most effective at bringing up your website's content on search engines. Yes, our final word count is based on the electronic word count (using specific word count software) of the translated language (source language). This is an industry standard and is really the only consistent way of charging between translators and clients. Articles, prepositions etc. are part of the language and message you want to convey, and thus, not useless words, therefore they must be translated.

For odd sounding keyword phrases, you can add small stop words to improve readability. For example, you could add a word like... to your keyword phrase and the Search Engine will still recognize it. A more comprehensive list is at... Analyze It! will work for Specific Keyword phrases with or without stop words as long as you stay consistent throughout your entire page.
