Applicants for certification must pass the Liberal Arts and Science Test (LAST), the Assessment of Teaching-Skills-Written (ATS-W) and Content Specialty Test (CST).

There are three tests: the Basic Skills test, the Elementary Education test, and the subject-area tests. Depending on the level of teaching certificate sought, Michigan law requires that the tests are passed before teaching certificates are issued.

If you present yourself at the test site with an expired identification, you will be turned away and forfeit all fees you have paid.

The 3Com Certification Programs do not require that you take or pass any courses and/or practice exams prior to taking the final exam. The final exam is the only requirement to achieve a certification level. However, please keep in mind that the final exam will cover ALL recommended curriculum content. Please refer to the certification program web pages to review the most current curricula recommendation and requirements.

All students seeking Washington State Residency Certification are required to take and pass a content (major) competency test called the WEST-E/Praxis II. Candidates must pass this test for any subject area in which they wish to be endorsed. Students wishing more information on the test in their academic area can review the website.

They must be ARRT-certified. However, it is strongly recommended but not required, that CT technologists be ARRT-certified in CT.

In addition to your certification card, it may be helpful to also furnish your log book where recent dives are entered.

A complete ultrasound is required. This state-of-the-art technology provides painless and non-invasive testing, and is performed in the physician's office.

Three SAT II Subject Tests are highly recommended. It is recommended that you take one Math (of your choice), one Science (of your choice), and then a third of your choice.

Students who have already earned an Associates Degree or higher may be exempt from taking the Placement Test but need to take a copy of their transcript (unofficial ok) to a counselor for completion of a Waiver form. For students applying to the Registered Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant, and/or Respiratory Therapist Ohlone programs, the English placement test is required regardless of a previous degree.

A student may take a few courses without taking placement tests, but you should take the placement test series when you can. The placement process is for your benefit, so that you neither start at a higher level than you can benefit from nor at so low a level as to waste your time (and money!). Placement testing covers three areas: reading, writing, and math. It's free and conducted year around, so it is convenient for even the busiest of students.

After applying on-line, if you meet the minimum requirements of a job you will receive an email with an invitation to test if the job is still open.

Initial testing requires a chest x-ray. Further tests may include a pulmonary function test, blood work, and a physical examination.

You must take and pass the Basic Skills exam prior to being admitted into the MSEd program as a matriculated (degree-seeking) student. The Basic Skills test is a part of your application like any other. Until we receive your scores, your application will be considered incomplete, and it will not be reviewed. Secondary teacher candidates should plan to take the Subject Matter exam on the same day as the Basic Skills test.

Stakeholders agreed that, due to the time-sensitive nature of electronic product development, EPEAT should not be a tool that required a lengthy application, review, and approval process. Instead, EPEAT adopted and refined the self-verification process already used successfully by the U.S. federal government's Energy Star program.

A general medical checkup is recommended to determine if a woman has any risk factors that may contraindicate HRT. A routine exam should include a check of blood pressure, breasts, abdomen, and pelvis.
