The University of Connecticut's School of Business requires GMAT scores for all students, regardless of work experience, unless s/he has already completed a law or medical degree at an accredited university.

The MSF program seeks students with strong quantitative skills, which can more easily be assessed with a GMAT or GRE score. The majority of applicants submit a GMAT score. The average GMAT score for an admitted student in 2007 was 663.

No. The GMAT/GRE test scores are a strong indication of the quantitative and verbal skills of an applicant. While the committee considers the composite application of each applicant, an official GMAT or GRE score must be included.

No. All degree programs require applicants to take either the GRE or the Miller Analogies Test (except the Ed.D. program which is currently not admitting students while it is under revision.)

Answer: No. The only exception to the age requirement is for persons who were engaged in military duty as defined in Section 243 of the New York State Military Law. They may deduct from their age the length of time spent in such military duty provided the total deduction for military duty does not exceed six years.

This varies by department. We suggest you check with your proposed academic department to determine their specific TOEFL requirements. The TOEFL exam requirement can only be waived by the Graduate School, upon recommendation by the academic department or documentation submitted by the applicant.

While it is important to do well on the GMAT, we do not have a minimum score. The GMAT exam is required for admission to the MSRED program and combined with prior academic performance serves as a guide to the admissions committee in determining an applicant's academic potential in coursework at MIT. People who take the GMAT multiple times will be interested to know that we use only the highest score.

You may enroll in the HCA 500: Health Care Accounting and HCA 501: Self and Small Group Leadership courses, as a non-degree student before formally applying to the Health Care Administration program. This option provides the opportunity to waive the GRE/GMAT requirement. If you obtain a grade of B+ or above in both courses, you may apply to the HCA program without submitting standardized test scores.

In principle, ALL applicants for admission to CentER must take the GRE or GMAT. In the interest of fairness and to ensure that all applications are considered equally, these test scores are compulsory. If you are currently enrolled at Tilburg University, however, you may apply for a waiver, though there is no guarantee that one will be granted. Each waiver request is considered individually.
