To monitor Google and see if the update has happened, use http://google-dance.miniunternehmen.de/ There's a link that says "Quick Check: link:www.yahoo.com" - when Google updates, the number of links to Yahoo changes. Right now it's 661,000. When they begin their update, you will see different results from their 3 servers. Once the update is done (takes a couple days), all 3 will show the same number.

Several of you have asked me to make nicely formatted newsletters, the kind that look like (and use the HTML coding of) a web page. In the past year or so, I've declined such requests, advising instead to seek out businesses and services that specialise in this technology. Early 2006 one of my newer clients twisted my arm to pursue this further for them, and now I can say that I have mastered the basic technology sufficient for most purposes.

Unfortunately we cannot determine how many visitors/hits your web site gets from Shared Memories. Tracking visitors/hits to your web site is not something we can do; we wish we could. It is something a wedding vendor has to do on their web site.

We'll do a basic search of the terms that people are most likely to use for your type of business and, if you want, show you how you can put the right words on each page of your site to encourage surfing 'traffic'. We can also submit your site to the main search engines. However, 'optimising' your site - getting it to appear high up in the page rankings - is different and more complicated. Let us quote if this is something you need.

Our site may come up above yours on Google because we mostly likely have more inbound links and have been indexed by Google longer than you have. In fact, our search engine pages are designed to return high results FOR you and enable people to click through to your site. If you would like to increase your google rankings, please read our FAQ about increasing search engine results. If your rankings have CHANGED on Google, we can't specifically tell you WHY that is.

MortgageCentreEstateAgency.com have direct access to the website and as such upload new properties to the site, as they appear on the market. The site is normally updated on a daily basis.

Listing agents must verify their property information every 60 days, although listing agents and owners have the ability to update individual listings on a 24/7 basis. Demographic data, consumer expenditure data, business and workforce data are updated annually.

For an extra $10/month, we will continue adding your site to every new directory that gets added to our list. On avarage between 15-30 directories gets added or removed from our list each month. This option will ensure that your website gets fresh links every month.

When our automated systems crawl the web every few months or so, we find that only about 50% of all pages on the web have changed from our previous visit. This means that much of the content in our archive is duplicate material. If you don't see ""*"" next to an archived document, then the content on the archived page is identical to the previously archived copy.

Can I copy part/all of your site to put up on my own site? I'm doing one about X, and you've got everything I need. I put in huge amounts of time and effort on this site, and I really don't want it copied elsewhere. If you're building a site about a particular subject and you need big chunks of my site to create it -- you're not creating a site. You're just taking mine and putting your name on it, and you're going to piss me off, and then things will get ugly.

Current winning numbers are updated live, as the drawing happens, and are shown prominently on our Home Page. No other site has the current results sooner. Statistics and Previous Results are updated instantly when the drawing results are entered. The number of winners in each prize category, including the jackpot, is updated early in the morning after the drawing, when the information is official.
