Your short fund's NAV will be calculated by subtracting the outstanding shorts from the total cash, then dividing by the number of mutual fund shares (which is fixed at 100,000 shares). For example, if fund FOO 's outstanding shorts are worth $500 K, and FOO's cash holding's are worth $1,000,000, then your NAV is equal to (1,000,000 - 500,000)/100,000 = $5.00/share.

Short funds must always maintain at least 130% of the total value of shorted stock available in cash. Any dip below that number will force a margin call or a situation where you are forced to cover some of your short positions to bring that percentage back above 130%. The amount of cash that you have above the 130% threshold is known as your excess margin. Excess margin is calculated as follows: Note that Marketocracy doesn't currently issue margin calls.

NAV is the net realizable value of each unit of the scheme. After netting off liabilities from the asset value and dividing by the total number of units outstanding we arrive at the NAV.

Typically, when you buy a stock, you do so with the expectation that the price of the stock will rise. For example, suppose you bought 100 shares of the stock FOO for $10 per share, for a total of $1000. And suppose the price of FOO rose to $15 per share, at which point, you sold your 100 shares for $1500. You would realize a $500 profit (ignoring trading commissions and taxes).

The percentage, which is related to the drill diameter is used to calculate the width of the copper ring that is around the drilling. Default is 25%. A drill diameter of, for example, 0.032 inches results in a ring width of 0.008 inches. In the next step EAGLE checks if this value is within the given minimum and maximum boundaries. If so, the diameter of the pad results for our example in (2 * 0.008) + 0.032 = 0.048 inches. Let's assume the minimum value is set to 0.010 inches.

A shorting contact is also known as "make before break" and describes the action of the contact as you select your switch positions. The switch will momentarily "short position 1 and 2 together when you rotate from position 1 over to position 2. A non-shorting contact is also known as" break before make". The connection is momentarily broken when you rotate from position 1 over to position 2.

NavTech does supply maps to both Volkswagen for use in the Touareg's GPS and Garmin for use in their GPS units. However, it appears that NavTech has different sets of maps for different customers. The maps that NavTech supplies to Garmin are much richer than those supplied to Volkswagen. Garmin's CitySelect maps are comprehensive insofar as they include every public roadway and street in the United States. The Touareg's maps lack many streets a nd points of interest in non-metropolitan areas.

The Nav system's manuals were not available at the initial launch of the Touareg. Volkswagen has subsequently made these available. Your dealer should be able to obtain this manual for you

this point, Volkswagen has indicated that this button has no useful function, and has not committed to ever providing an adapter that will allow owners to attach auxiliary audio devices to the NAV system. Some Touareg owners have reported that there are third party interfaces available to allow owners to attach auxiliary audio and video input to the Nav system, which would be activated with this button. One of these adapters appears to be available for pur chase in Germany.

The consensus seems to be running about 50 to 1 that it does suck, but there are a few folks out there who think very highly of the NAV system. When people say that the "NAV system sucks", they aren't saying that it is non-functional or that it cannot be used to navigate. In fact, even the most vocal opponents of the NAV system probably do use it on a regular basis.

The chances are very good that your city itself does appear in the NAV system's map data. However, unless you live in the city limits of a metropolitan area, there is a significant chance that the street coverage for your area is not comprehensive. This contrasts with other GPS navigation systems, such as the Garmin Street Pilot line that includes every public road, (and many private roads) in the US as of the date of the map data.

Press the hard button on the Navigation system that resembles a musical note. A screen will appear that allows you to adjust the audio output of the system. One of the options within this screen is ?Volumes?. Pressing this button will take you to a screen in which you can adjust the Nav system's volume, including muting the voice guidance entirely. Additionally, the NAV system volume can be adjusted any time the system is speaking by adjusting the volume with the regular volume knob.

When money is borrowed, interest is charged for the use of that money for a certain period of time. When the money is paid back, the principal (amount of money that was borrowed) and the interest is paid back.
