Please make sure the flue is open before starting fire. NEVER remove hot ashes or partially burned loges. Please leave the ashes in the fireplace even if you are sure they are cold. It's easier to build a fire with a bed of ashes. If it becomes absolutely necessary to remove the cold ashes, use a metal container only. Unfortunately, no. You will need a wood pellet stove but if you don’t already have one, the savings you will realize in heating your home will more than pay for the stove. Yes you absolutely can from a technical standpoint. The building can have anything normal installed into it. Legally, we cannot answer that. You would need to check with your local fire department etc.Many places now require the Ultra low emission wood stoves and some areas no longer allow wood stoves. We cannot comment on that because we don't know your area, but yes a wood stove can be installed.

The Bellfires? fireplace is designed to burn wood. To burn coal a special metal grate would need to be added. This was popular during the time between 1940 and 1950.

Yes, all Blaze King wood stoves are mobile home approved. Of course this requires that side shields, rear shield or fans, fresh air kit and double wall stove pipe are used in the installation. Unfortunately, Blaze King wood inserts are not mobile home approved, as there is no design for a fresh air intake for these models.

Most of our cabins and cottages have some type of woodstove, fireplace, pellet stove or gas fireplace. Please check the amenities list to see the specifics for each cabin. We do have wood delivered to the cabins with woodstoves or wood burning fireplaces, we ask that you please be considerate when using the wood and remember that another guest may be checking in when you leave. We ask that you do not use firewood provided for the fireplaces to burn in campfire rings.
