You can't. The Heatproof temperature of our clear paint is 200?C to 300?C. The temperature of muffler rises to 500?C to 600?C, so you can't use a clear. It may be the reason that the nozzle of gun choked with little cleaning or too little dilution to the paint. Therefore, keep the gun clean and increase the dilution of the paint. There are times when you might want a solid black for a specific effect, but on the whole I prefer to mix blacks for livelier color. Thermilate doesn’t affect colours which are lighter, for example whites and creams, however if a colour is quite dark, for example dark blue, Thermilate would lighten the colour slightly. The reason for this, is because of course if you add a pouch of something white to a dark colour it will affect the colour. The difference is in the process. Conventional paints or single stage paints, layer coats of color paint. These coats build the color, distribute the coverage, and add depth and durability to the paint surface. The exposed pigments of a single stage painted surface can be readily affected by the sun, neglect and the environment, causing oxidation. No, latex product is not the same as urethane or furniture foam. Urethane is a plastic. It doesn't have the longevity and resiliency of rubber. They don't make rubber bands or tires out of urethane (plastic), because urethane can't stretch and return to shape like rubber. In short, when worked, they lose resiliency and shape.
