You can load music to these phones by either syncing or by “sideloading” to the MY_MUSIC folder on the memory card. No, normal CDs are CD-DA format; MP3s are in (yes!) MP3 format. Some new Discman-type players will play MP3s, but most don't like low-bitrate files.
