No. The helium filled latex balloon is contained inside a sealed helium environment (the Sparklet). Helium inflated balloons in a helium environment will last as long as air filled balloons last in an air environment. Generally round latex balloons last as long as the Sparklet lasts (3 - 5 weeks). Hearts last for 3 weeks (inflate them nice and full to get a full "heart" shape). 350's last for 2 weeks and 260's last for 1 week.

Helium balloons deflate quicker than air filled balloons because the helium particles are smaller than air particles and so escape through the balloons more easily

Latex balloons have a limited life of about 18-24 hours for 11-12" pearlshine (metallic) balloons, so inflation should be done as close to the event time as possible. We are able to supply a product which can increase the float life of a helium inflated latex balloon.

Both latex and foil balloons are porous which allows the helium to escape from the balloons. Latex balloons are more porous and let the helium escape more quickly than the foil balloons

If you inflate the inserted latex balloons with air, AND the Sparklet with helium, the inner latex balloons will grow until they finally POP (usually within the first day). You MUST inflate both the inserted latex and outer Sparklet with helium. If you do not need the Sparklet to float, you can use nitrogen (or compressed air) in BOTH the inner latex and outer Sparklet. Always use the same gas in both inner and outer balloons.

Yes, we can inflate your balloons with helium at RM1.50 for normal latex balloon, and RM3.00 for mylar 9" balloon. To inflate normal air, we charge you RM0.50 per balloon.

In theory a balloon will deflate more quickly in a cold room as the helium contracts in the cold making it easier for the particles to escape from the balloon. In a hot room the helium particles expand making them less likley to escape from the balloon. Depending on how hot the room is, if the particles expand a lot then this can cause the balloon to pop.

On average it takes about 5 minutes when inflating with a foot pump. It will obviously take longer than that the first time you setup as you will want to get familiar with the components and assembly described in the owner's manual.

You will need a shop vac. or strong power inflator. Many marina areas have compressed air, but you will need to deflate with a power unit, sucking out the air until the product is flat. We sell a power inflator for this purpose.

A latex balloon is made from 100 % organic material and it is 1--% biodegradeable.  Inflation causes stress which begins the process of decomposition.  This process is accelerated by exposure to sunlight.  Even in the dark, ozone and oxygen are working against the late material.  Within hours, latex balloons begin to oxidize.  You can tell this because it gets a "frosted" look.  The latex balloon will soon begin to break apart.

DUI seals are manufactured from premium, ultra-pure latex. One of the major enemies of latex is ozone. Many people store their drysuits in areas where ozone is prevalent, such as garages and basements. It is important to try to minimize contact with ozone by storing your drysuit in an airtight bag if it will not be used for a little while. If you have ZipSeals, you can take the seals off for convenient storage in a Ziploc bag or other airtight container.

It depends on a couple of things, the size of the balloons and the tank size. Temperature and tank pressures are also factors. The chart below will give you an approximate number of balloons based on these factors. The chart assumes that the tank is full and that you're not over-inflating the balloons. Note: You won't get 125 balloons if the tank is half full and the 9'' balloons you've bought are inflated to twice that size.

When filled with helium a latex (rubber) balloon will usually last about 12 hours and then start to deflate. A foil (Mylar) balloon will usually last about 2 weeks and then start to deflate.

Helium is available to buy in disposable cylinders many of which supply 9" balloons in the pack. Helium is also available to hire from your nearest party store in different sizes to suit your needs. You will need to return this when finished.

We do not have a minimum order. You may order as little or as many as you want. You may pick it up or we will send to you at a minimum charge.

A regular shape balloon requires only four to six people as crew. Some of the large special shape balloons require as many as twenty-five people to help inflate and deflate the balloon.

Average balloons take only about fifteen minutes to inflate and about the same amount of time to deflate and pack away. Larger balloons may take longer.

SkyRest tm has been designed with ease of inflation and deflation in mind. The removable deflation valve is designed to allow very fast deflation (~10-15 seconds)so that you can get ready for de-planing quickly. For inflation, experience has shown that the best way to do this is to start with the valve removed. This leaves a large hole so that air can easily enter the pillow. Just pull out the corners of the pillow to form it into it's inflated shape(like a cube)and it is now 80% full of air.
