The Richmond Police Department no longer issues concealed weapons permits. By agreement, applicants are now referred to the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office for concealed weapons permits (925-335-1500).

Dallas County Citizens may apply for a concealed weapon permit between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday. In any case when the sheriff refuses to issue a certificate of qualification or to act on an application for such certificate, the denied applicant shall have the right to appeal the denial within thirty days of receiving written notice of the denial. Such appeals shall be heard in small claims court as defined in section 482.300, RSMo, and the provisions of sections 482.300, 482.310 and 482.335, RSMo, shall apply to such appeals.

North Dakota has reciprocity with some states. Reciprocity means a North Dakota concealed weapon permit is valid while in those states, and permits from those states are recognized as valid in North Dakota. The first step is the Basic Personal Protection Course, which takes eight hours. This is normally done in two four-hour sessions on two days. Once you complete this course, you get a certificate from us, which you take to the Department of Safety, at a Driver's License Examining Station. Yes. Special Conservators of the Peace are exempt from having to obtain a concealed weapon permit while working as a Special Conservator of the Peace; however, you must be registered with DCJS as an armed SCOP.

Any meeting of the governing body of a unit of local government or any meeting of the general assembly or a committee of the general assembly, excluding members. Any building owned, leased or controlled by a unit of government, except public housing, highways, rest areas, firing ranges and private dwellings.

According to RSMo 571.030, any individual, with or without a valid concealed carry endorsement, over the age of twenty-one may transport a concealable firearm that is otherwise lawfully possessed in the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle. Additionally, "any person who has been issued a concealed carry endorsement and such endorsement or driver's license has not been suspended, revoked, canceled, or denied may carry concealed firearms on or about his or her person or within a vehicle.

No. Washington courts have ruled that such language does not restore the right to possess firearms. A Certificate of Discharge must specifically state that firearm rights are restored.
