The Great Lengths technologies ensure that there is no damage to your own hair, providing that you follow the correct after care programme as recommended by your Great Lengths technician and you visit the hair salon for a regular maintenance (preferrably monthly). Your hair should be in the same condition after the extensions are removed as it was before, if not better.

We recommend that three months after the initial installation you visit your Great Lengths approved salon for regular maintanence appointments every 4 - 6 weeks. During these maintenance appointments it may be neccesary to remove bonds that have become untidy and replace them with new extensions. This is dependant on the individual and will vary according to ones natural hair growth.

As far as your hair goes, you can use Curlaway before, during and after extensions, but you should make sure that the glue is not weakened by Curlaway. I would suggest you apply the extensions to clean hair and add Curlaway to the shaft of hair below the glue.

Fortunately there are several drugs available that are very effective at maintaining the current hair that you have and preventing any future hair loss. During your initial consultation we can determine whether you are still actively loosing hair, and if you are; we can determine what medical treatment would be best for you.

There are several different Hair Extension methods that I offer my clients. The method selected usually depends on the hair quality used, the hair length desired, and amount of hair needed to get the type of Hair you have always imagined.
