No! Hair is a limited resource. It is used up regardless of how it is moved and scalp reductions are just another method of moving hair around. Scalp reductions move hair to the crown at the expense of the front of the scalp, the cosmetically more important area. Extensions are usually applied by a stylist but many customers are doing this at home. Human hair extensions can be cut, curled and styled.

It is not necessary to wash your extensions. If you do decide to do so, you only need to do this once every week or two.
