Check the label for suitable surfaces and avoid using Cillit Bang Power Cleaner Degreaser on materials such as copper. For dishes, post and pans and other non-porous surfaces that come into direct contact with food: Thoroughly wash with soap and water, or rinse well and place in the dishwasher with detergent, rinse thoroughly with water before re-use. If the blockage has not shifted after 15 minutes, we recommend that you leave it for up to two hours and then flush with hot water.

When measurement is required repeatedly hot a sample pan should not be used since once the new sample is put on the hot pan moisture would vaporize, which makes measurement data inaccurate. To avoid this 2 pans and handles should utilized in turns, which not only enhances measurement repeatability and credibility but also prevent mishaps like burns.

Answer: You should not use any food grade grease which contains acetate. AFC is presently using Citgo Mystik food grade grease in hydrants, and recommends Mystik grease for maintenance of AFC hydrants.

This is one area of concern that is sometimes made to be more of an issue than it needs to be. The old homemade grease mixture of lard and tar concoction, to the production axle grease, doubtfully compares to the quality of greases we have available today. The open boxing style wheels do require constant maintenance, but using a quality wheel bearing grease is, in my opinion, still far superior to what was available back when.

We recommend either a white lithium or green emerald. Under no circumstances should wheel bearing grease or any other grease with fibrous material content be used. We strongly favor the American brands. Before buying a rotor made outside the U.S., find out from the dealer or manufacturer what the availability of parts and service will be. Also talk to someone who owns one. We constantly hear horror stories from people who buy foreign-made rotors and can't get either parts or service.

Approximately 0.5 litre is required for each coat per square metre. For normal use 2 coats is sufficient however 3 coats are recommended for areas of high wear. Therefore depending on the material and technique being used 1litre will cover 1-1.5m2 in normal use and 0.6-0.9m2 for areas of high wear. It is always better to apply many thin coats than few thick coats as this will give better overall cure times and better overall results.

The Allied Ho-Pac uses a bearing on both sides of the rotating internal eccentric mass. Grease fittings are provided on each side of the unit in order to supply lubrication to these bearings. Daily service is required. Please see the Ho-Pac lubrication procedure for details.

Do NOT use bearing grease on your carrier bearings or pinion bearings when setting up your differential. This could cause premature failure from the oil not having the ability to lurbicate the bearings properly. Use clean gear oil only to pre-lubricate your bearings during the install.
