John Lurie of the Lounge Lizards wrote the theme song. He was a finalist for the band leader job (Max's position).

The theme song was written by Narada Michael Walden and Sunny Hilden. Ariel Ryder sings the song with the raps provided by Narada Michael Walden. It doesn't have an official name aside from "Now and Again Theme." No to any question along these lines. I only knew ep titles ahead of time because of TV Guide Online and people on the N&A mailing lists who managed to snag CBS press releases. I have no connection whatsoever with the show aside from being addicted to it.

Here is the long and windy road that comprises the story behind ED's theme song - The first year's theme song was "Next Year" by the Foo Fighters. It's off their "There is Nothing Left to Lose" CD.- The producers had to change the song for the second season because Paramount/Viacom did not own the rights to "Next Year" and they have a policy that all their shows have theme songs that are owned by them. That song was "Moment in the Sun" by Clem Snide, off their "The Ghost of Fashion" CD.

The current theme song is "It's a Jungle Out There" by Randy Newman, while the theme song from Season 1 was "Monk Main Title Theme" by Jeff Beal. Visit the Theme Song page to listen to both songs and get the lyrics for "It's a Jungle Out There."

The theme song was written by Irving Szathmary, who was the brother of Bill Dana. Dana was Don Adams' close friend and writing partner. The music to the theme is available in a book of TV Themes. In two years of watching Get Smart on eBay, I saw the original sheet music from 1965 on sale once and it sold for around $60. That's the only time I've seen it for sale. The actual song is available on a CD called Television's Greatest Hits, Volume 1. That's available online at Amazon.com.

Please help! I want to know what rumic theater is but I can't find it on the internet(or at least stuf about it) I want to know because I heard something about a screencap in episode 13 that had a picture of inuyasha's ears and someone that looked like kagome in the background! There are several songs used for opening/closing theme songs on SCTV. The first season shows use Spike Jones' "Dance Of The Hours" as the theme song. Seasons 2, 3, and Cycle 1 of Season 4 use an unidentified song that seems to be a piece of production music (this song was also used on the syndicated versions of Seasons 1-3). Cycles 2-5 and the Cinemax episodes use a song by Ira Newborn.

While watching this scene, Closed Captioning says "[yelling]" when Bastian screams the name. If what was yelled was intended to be the same name as in the book, it is "Moon Child".

The title is "Ku Te Twi Ae So" translated as "Behind You". It is the fifth track in the album. There's a instrumental piece on Track 11.

The group that plays/sings the original theme song is Primus. The "4th Grade" episodes (which started with the episode "South Park: 4th Grade (#4.11)" and ended with the episode "South Park: Kenny Dies (#5.13)") with the first altered opener was a remix of that song performed by Paul Robb. After that, the theme was replaced by another version of the song, this time performed by Les Claypool's Frog Brigade. Currently, the theme song is a remix of that.
