The construction of a year-round ice skating facility will enable children and adults to learn and enjoy the sport of ice-skating. The rink will provide a facility for the youth and adult hockey leagues, as well as provide the Nantucket Public Schools with a facility to conduct their physical education programs and junior and varsity level hockey programs for both boys and girls.

Nantucket Ice received its rink design approval on Tuesday, March 9th, which completed the first step in the permitting process of our project. On Thursday, April 9th, Nantucket Ice presented its final subdivision plan before the Nantucket Planning Board. This hearing was very positive and approval is expected in early May. Once this final plan is approved, Nantucket Ice will be free to file its permit application for a Major Commercial Development.

I always put competition skating dresses as first priority and testing skating dresses second. Practice skating dresses are made as time allows. Once a due date is determined, I never miss a deadline. Please note that dresses that are needed in less then 4 weeks require a rush fee.

Wollman Rink and Lasker Rink are both located in Central Park and are available for ice skating in the winter. Other rinks in NYC are located at Rockefeller Center, Chelsea Piers, and Prospect Park, Brooklyn. These rinks are not affiliated with the Central Park Skate Patrol. Over the last 15 years, the Tibetan community has undergone exponential growth in the San Francisco Bay Area. MHC uses the Brainerd Area Civic Center located at 502 Jackson Street, Brainerd, MN 56401. It has two sheets of ice and enough locker rooms for each group at MHC to have and store their hockey equipment for the entire week.

The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Academy of Pediatrics both recommend using DEET-based repellents to help prevent mosquito and tick bites.
