Is the CityPass refundable?

Once 'activated' (used to visit an attraction) CityPass booklets are nonrefundable but in some specific cases returns may be accepted. Because CityPass represents the attractions in the CityPass program we are unable to offer returns without a written request and formal review. You can submit a return request by email to returns@citypass.com. Be sure to include an explanation, where you purchased the CityPass and the barcode number on the back of the booklet.

CityPass is a ticket booklet containing an actual admission ticket to the top attractions in each city. With CityPass, you pay one substantially reduced price and avoid main entrance ticket lines at most attractions. Once you start using the CityPass you have 9 days to visit all of the attractions included in the program. When using the Southern California CityPass you have 14 consecutive days.

Is it refundable?

When is it due? The Housing Deposit is due for the Spring semester by October 31st. For returning students, April 1st is the due date for the Fall semester. New students pay their deposits after they are accepted into the University, and are guaranteed housing for the Fall semester if their deposit is paid prior to May 1st.

You can purchase a CityPass at any of the attractions in the CityPass program. All of the attractions included in the program sell the CityPass for their city at their main ticket windows. They all charge the same rates as citypass.com. If you decide to prepurchase you can order online at citypass.com for a print-at-home voucher* or to have booklets delivered right to your door via UPS.

Is the CityPass transferable?

Although the CityPass is intended for one person to visit all of the attractions included in the program there is no name or identification on the CityPass*. As long as the tickets remain in the booklet and the validity period has not passed the CityPass will be accepted. *The exception to this is with the Disney portion of the Southern California CityPass.

If I purchased a voucher for CityPass how do I redeem it for my actual CityPass?

We have affiliates that sell the CityPass using a voucher program. If you purchase through one of our affiliates you'll print out a voucher that you'll redeem for a CityPass. Simply present that voucher at the main ticket window of the first attraction you decide to visit. (Important note, Southern California CityPass vouchers have to be redeemed at a specific attraction, depending on who you purchase your voucher through.

Are there any 'blackout days' with CityPass?

There are no 'blackout days' with CityPass. Any day or time that an attraction is open to the public it is open to CityPass holders.

Is CityPass a guided tour?

CityPass is not a guided tour. It is a ticket booklet containing admission to the top attractions in each city. You choose how and when you want to visit each attraction. Some people visit all of the attraction over a couple days while others spread their visits out over the entire period the CityPass is valid.

The day you first use the CityPass to enter an attraction starts the 9-day period that the ticket booklet is valid for. What if my CityPass is lost or stolen?

Unfortunately, because there is no name or form of identification on them, CityPasses have a cash-like value. If your CityPass is lost or stolen we will be unable to refund your money or reissue you a CityPass.

Sometimes your CityPass admission includes something extra such as an IMAX show. Is transportation included with the CityPass?

With the exception of Philadelphia and San Francisco, transportation is not included in the CityPass programs. We put information about transportation options on citypass.com to help you plan your visit. In Philadelphia the CityPass includes on-and-off riding privileges on the Philadelphia Trolley Works for a 24 hour period starting when you first ride. In San Francisco the CityPass includes 7 consecutive days of MUNI transportation system and cable car use.

Is parking included with the CityPass?

Parking is not included in the CityPass program. In most cities we recommend the use of public transportation. Refer to citypass.com or contact the individual attraction to find out if there is a charge for parking in that area.

Can my organization get a CityPass donation?

CityPass is not available for charitable donations. The tickets in the booklet are owned by the attractions we serve and CityPass is not authorized to donate CityPasses for charitable causes. Most of the attractions however do have a donation policy and we recommend contacting them directly.

How is the 'CityPass value' calculated?

The 'CityPass value' is calculated using the sum of the price one would pay for what's included in the CityPass admission to each of the attractions in the program for that city. Sometimes CityPass includes general admission; sometimes it includes an extra such as an IMAX show or special exhibit.

Can I 'prepay' for a CityPass and then pick it up at an attraction?

It is not possible to 'prepay' for a CityPass and later pick it up at an attraction and there is no 'will-call' for CityPass. You can prepurchase online at citypass.com or purchase at the first attraction in the program that you decide to visit.

Does the CityPass have an expiration date?

All of the CityPass programs except the Southern California CityPass have a program year that runs from April 1st through March 31st. That means that the attractions included in the program at that price will not change until next April. After the program has changed the CityPass is valid for one year following. If you are unsure when your CityPass booklets expire check the expiration date in the bottom right corner of the inside front cover of the ticket booklet.
