If my certification has expired, what are my options to renew?

To reinstate your certificate after your expiration date, you must submit the Renewal Application within four months of your expiration date and indicate 120 PDPs. Up to 90 PDPs can be earned solely from work experience. The remaining points will need to be earned through training and/or professional activities.

I want to become a personal trainer, what certification organization do you recommend?

NBFE - National Board of Fitness Examiners
The NBFE cannot recommend one certification organization over another. Within a couple of years an objective analysis of the various programs may be available, but not at this time.
