YES - Whenever an audio file is sent for transcription, a copy is always retained. This copy is retained for 14 days (default duration), but can be changed to any duration by entering in a new duration under the File Management Tab under the Settings Icon. The Quikscribe Recorder is able to record, edit and compress all at the same time.

Most immunization records are available on computer and can be printed out immediately. Microfilmed records can take up to two weeks to retrieve. There may be some instances where records are no longer available.

The Broward County School District is a GED testing facility. All requests for verification of GED test scores and official GED transcripts are handled by the Florida Department of Education, GED Testing Office through their Web site (http://www.firn.edu/doe/workforce/ged_dipl.htm) or call them toll free at 877-352-4331.

If you made your request in writing for the records to be sent directly to you, the physician must provide copies to you within 15 days. The physician can charge a reasonable fee for the cost of making the copies. If the physician's office advises you that a fee will be charged for the records, the medical records do not need to be provided until the fee is paid. If the physician does not comply within the time frame you can file a written complaint with the Medical Board.

EEOC Regulations require that employers keep all personnel or employment records for one year. If an employee is involuntarily terminated, his/her personnel records must be retained for one year from the date of termination.
