Pseudocatalase, also called Pcat for short, is a cream, that is applied twice a day, and purported to reduce epidermal hydrogen peroxide in vitiliginous skin, found to be in higher levels in those with vitiligo. Pseudocatalase is usually done in combination with narrow band UVB light therapy. Pseudocatalase does not make the skin more sun sensitive. The original formula is only available from Germany. When should I apply? The deadline for fall admission is May 15, but we start admitting students early in February. Applications that are received after we have started the admission process have a reduced chance of admission because there will be fewer open positions remaining.
