Generally, if you do not pay the fine or fee, the Court (on behalf of the People of the State of New York) enters a judgment against you in the County Clerk's office and suspends your drivers license. The Court may not waive certain surcharges or fees. You may tell the court that payment of the surcharges or fees will be an unreasonable hardship on you or your immediate family, and the court may defer payment and enter a civil judgment.

Failure to pay your fine in full could result in a conviction being entered against you. You can pay the fine in cash, by cheque or by Electronic Point Of Sale Card during normal office hours at the administrative offices of any Local Council in Malta or Gozo, except in the following localities : Floriana, Marsa, Xghajra, Birzebbugia, and Mtarfa. You can also pay the fine by filling in the lower part of the ticket whereby you authorize the Local Council to debit your Visa, Mastercard or Cashlink card.

When your fine shows an arrears balance, you will receive a reminder letter. If the fine remains unpaid following this letter, you will be cited to appear at a Means Enquiry Court.

You will be assessed a 25% late charge for all delinquent maintenance fees. Please ensure that you make your payments in a timely manner. Your check must be posted to your account prior to due date to avoid late fees.

Yes! It would be no problem to send your fees together, to save on transfer costs. Make sure you tell us you will do so, though! No! We accept all levels of learners, as your language study with us is not dependent on previous study, either at high school or college.

Consular fees can be paid to the Consular Cashier, with the exception of the Nonimmigrant Visa fee, which can only be paid at local Banco Nacional branches. Consular fees may be paid in cash, either in U.S. dollars or in local currency (Costa Rican Colones), or using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diner's Club or Discover. The Consular Section does not accept checks or money orders.
