How do I "skirt" my fleece?

Morro Fleece Works Frequently Asked Questions
Skirting is removing all of the undesirable pieces from your raw fleece. This would be matted or felted parts, dung tags, second cuts, coarser fibers, hoof trimmings, stickers, vegetable material and any foreign objects. Even purchased fleeces should be closely checked for these items. I will be pulling out any items that will harm my machines but I prefer not to skirt the fleeces. This is too subjective and each person has a different comfort level and/or application for their wool.

What is the skirt made of?

DiscoverHover: Hovercraft FAQ
The skirt is one of the most important parts of a hovercraft because it allows the hovercraft to clear obstacles: the higher the skirt, the larger the obstacle that the hovercraft will clear. However, if the skirt is too tall, the hovercraft will 'slide off' the cushion and the cushion will deflate; the craft will become extremely unstable. There are several types of hovercraft skirts, but the most common are the bag skirt, the segmented skirt and the jupe skirt. See similar questions...

What is the importance of a gusseted skirt?

spa cover faq
One piece continuos skirts, which are easier to manufacture, have many inherent problems as compared to skirts that are gusseted (also called "slits"). Gusseted skirts not only hang much straighter, but also have less of a tendency to bunch-up under the cover when putting it on your spa. If the skirt folds under the cover it prevents a proper seal between the cover and spa, greatly reducing the covers insulating ability. See similar questions...

What is the Short Skirt Trade?

Linda Bradford Raschke - LBR Group
The setup occurs after the S&P has made a sharp "impulse" move. The pattern tends to look like a continuation flag on a 1-minute chart. We call it a "Short Skirt" because the trade usually lasts between 3 - 10 minutes. The concept is - "quick in and quick out without getting caught." We try to look for Short Skirt setups that have the potential for a minimum of three points in the trade. This is to allow for a minimum of ? point slippage in and ? point slippage out. How do you enter Short Skirt Trades?

Linda Bradford Raschke - LBR Group
We watch for a price retracement of 1.5 to 3 points from the most recently formed swing high or low. For an untrained eye, it may be useful to watch the 20-period exponential moving average on a 1-minute chart, though the price does not always retrace that far. Sometimes the reactions that go sideways instead of back to the EMA can be the best trades. The initial price retracement lasts about 5 minutes. When the reaction back starts to stall, we usually enter a market order. See similar questions...
