We will endeavor to deliver all orders as best we can, however on Mother's Day, if the recipient is not at home, the courier will leave the flowers in what he/she deems to be a safe location. If there is nowhere safe to leave the order at the residence, please have the roses sent to a business or safe residential location. In the event that our couriers deem the location unsafe, the flowers will be returned to dispatch and a RosesByDesign delivery notice will be left in the letterbox and inbox.

If the recipient is not at home at the time of delivery we will attempt to leave the flowers securely on the property. If that is not possible, we will try to leave the flowers with neighbours. Either way a card will be left at the recipient's address to inform them where the flowers have been left.

Most people are not home for delivery. We deliver to garages, back doors, front doors -- any place not in direct sun and reasonably obscured from passersby. Where this is not possible, we can maintain a key to a garage, security gate or other area. We have hundreds of keys for this purpose. All keys are encrypted, so that they cannot be connected with a particular address. We have never lost a key. If lost, the keys would be useless without an encryption list.

Find a neighbor to accept the gift. We will try very hard trying as many as 10 neighbors, When we find a neighbor we will leave a tag on the front door of the recipient indicating where the delivery was left and what time, our driver will also call the recipient phone number and leave a message. If we are unable to find a neighbor we will leave a note on the door of the recipient's home asking them to call us and schedule an appropriate delivery time or redirect the gift to another location.

If the recipient is not at their home when a delivery is attempted, the florist may choose to do one of the following: Call the recipient ahead of time to make sure that they are going to be there or to schedule an appropriate time. top In an unforeseen circumstance of the recipient’s refusal to take delivery of the order, the same shall be informed to the client and the order shall be treated as completed, and no request for refund shall be entertained.

If the recipient is not in when delivery is attempted, the delivery company will leave a card requesting that the recipient contact the delivery company on the number provided on the card to arrange an alternative date for delivery. In the event that the gift has to be re directed by the Courier they impose a fee of $15.00 which we will pass on to you as an additional charge.

If the recipient is not available at the given address, our courier will deliver the gift to a person who’s available and will take down the signatures and relation of that person to the recipient. In case no one is available at the given address, or if the address is closed our courier would leave a message card for the recipient. After coordinating with the recipient, our courier will make a second attempt.

If no-one is at the given address to receive the delivery, our driver will leave a calling card advising that they have visited and requesting the recipient to contact our customer service number (1300 767 325) to arrange a new time. We will do our best to return to the address the same day, however, an additional delivery charge may apply.

The package would be delivered to the alternate recipient. In the event an alternate recipient is not named, the executor of the recipient's will/estate may obtain a court order naming a party to whom the delivery should be made and our company will gladly ship the package to such named party. In the absence of a court order, the package will be turned over to the State's unclaimed property section.

We will leave a note on the door and try again later. If our driver determines that it is safe to leave the flowers with a neighbor or at the given address we will do so. Flowers, balloons and fruit cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes, APO addresses, airports and some rural areas.

In most cases, your caregiver will be able to tell you in advance the day and approximate time you will be discharged. You are expected to make the arrangements necessary to ensure you have someone to pick you up at the appropriate discharge time. The person picking you up should come to your inpatient unit in case you require assistance with your personal items. If required, a porter can be arranged to assist you in getting to the patient pickup area at the Main Lobby.
