Here are notes on setting up MS Outlook for email access under MS Windows 95 or 98. Yes, you can check your email from anywhere around the world using our VIF Email interface. However, if you have configured your email reader to download all your emails automatically, you will only have access to the new messages, the old one being located on your home computer.

After registering, you are given a DAS account. The DAS username will allow you to access your student email and remotely access the McGill network by modem to connect to McGill-restricted resources.
