The method used to log into Webmail varies according to whether you have Windows 9x, Windows NT/2000/ME, or Windows XP. Basically, if you find a text box asking for a domain, type in ASC. If you don't find a Domain text box prompt, type in username@alfredstate.edu in the Username text box. Obviously make sure to type in your password in the Password text box. Note passwords are case sensitive; usernames are not.

Have you registered? Seriously, you must register in order to log in. Your username has to be an email address. If you haven't registered, click here. If you forgot your password, click here. Remember, you password is case sensitive, that means that if you entered your password when you registered as "Tree" then "tree" won't work. Also, make sure your Caps Lock is off so that you aren't typing, let's say "tREE" when you think you are typing "Tree".

Students and employees can access MyBCC on or off campus. Follow the same steps whether you are logging in from BCC, from home or any other location with an Internet connection.

Even with an expired account you should be able to log in. When you log in, our server checks your account and starts a session for 2 hours; also, It sends a cookie (it is a a string of characters with your identification) to your PC to signal a successful login through a salutation such as "Greetings Mr. Thermo". Unfortunately, if your browser restricts cookie creation, the session cannot be started at your (client) end.
