Provided you are an AMATEUR builder, you may build a second boat from the same set of plans at a discount of 10% of the plan price, for the second sail number. If you want to build more than 2 boats, then we have to bring up the question of whether in fact you really are an AMATEUR builder or a PROFESSIONAL builder. The situation regarding PROFESSIONAL BUILDERS is different. We receive many enquiries about building our boats "professionally", but, for many different reasons, few work out.

A first time boat builder should study all of the designs listed and choose a simple one. My advice would be to build a canoe appropriately sized to handle the user. A Review Set of home plans will include all four exterior views plus the main and upper (2-stories) home floor plans. They are intended to help decide if the home you have chosen will fit into your budget and to give you a better idea of room size. They do not include the roof plan, the foundation plan, building sections or details. A review set is not a license to build. Not all of our home plan designers and architects offer this option, so check to make sure it is available.

Each set of homeplans that we offer will provide you with the necessary information to build the home. There may be some adjustments necessary to the home plans or garage plans in order to comply with your state or county building codes. The following list shows what is included within each set of home plans that we sell. Depending on the home designer there might be more home building information provided.

Complete set of home plans on an erasable paper called Mylar, sepia, or vellum. This is what you want if you are planning to make minor changes to your home plans. Once you've made your changes, you are able to make all of the copies you need to build from. Not all of our home designers offer this option, so check to make sure it is available. A Reproducible Set includes a copyright release allowing you to legally make copies of this copyrighted home plan.

No! The building plans are sold to amateur builders, giving them the right to build one craft only. The largest part of the cost of purchasing the plans is the royalties. In any case, when building a boat, the plans do tend to get a bit battered and might become incomplete. Building from a new set of plans also ensures that you have the latest updates of a design.

With few exceptions, North Star can build a modular home from almost any set of plans. Bring us your plans (even rough ideas or sketches) or use one of our standard plans as a basis for your custom home.

From the two sets of plans that we package you can make as many copies as necessary from your local printing shop for the purpose of building your house only. A digital copy of the plans on CD can be obtained from Nethouseplans.com. This will make it easy to reproduce the house plans for construction.

Our members have built guitar-shaped, odd-shaped, and rectangular cases with success. We do not know of any detailed plans. Rectangular cases are relatively simple to build, and there may not be commercial cases available for unusual instruments. Most folks who've built a guitar-shaped case report feeling that it wasn't worth the time it took to build, and wish they'd bought a commercial case first and designed their guitar to fit it.

All Wakeboarders get to stay in the boat until everyone’s set is over. This way everyone can watch and learn from each other; plus listening to the instructor teaching other students will most likely help you pick things up you may have not learned during your set. Most people are visual learners, which makes this teaching style very beneficial.

The Airport Master Plan includes a new parallel runway (5R-23L) which would be 7000 feet long and approximately 850 feet east of the present primary runway. The Master Plan also reflects an 824-foot extension to the crosswind runway bringing that runway to 5,700 feet. These runway projects will be developed based on operational demand and availability of funding.

The plans consist of full sized patterns, detailed scaled drawings, a complete Bill of materials, sailing rig on certain designs and a step by step construction manual. Plans are always priced separately from the partial kits.

The PWD owns all land around the boat launch except for a 99-foot right of way (ROW) to the water which is owned by the town of Standish. The PWD has begun to revegetate the land around the 99-foot ROW to improve water quality in Lower Bay. Over the years the PWD has presented more than six boat launch relocation proposals to the Standish Town Council. The most recent proposal was voted down by the people in 2003.

It depends upon the individual and their work habits. The times that are posted on the design pages are optimistic. It is a time that some one said that they took. I spend a lot of time admiring my work and can’t do it that fast. One individual was reported that he spent time planning in his head every step. When he started building he wasted no time. You could get an idea of the time by adding up the number of items on the bill of material; for example the Sweet Pea Mark 2 has 19 .

You can use anything you want to build your boat. As Allyn says, "It ain't my boat". There are builders who use any number of woods that are not considered good boat building material, many never have problems with them; but we are boat designers, and will not recommend materials that we think are inferior. If you deviate from the materials list, be reasonable. If you are using inferior materials, just because they are cheaper, this is false economy.
